Our writing curriculum teaches pupils to develop competence in two dimensions

• Transcription (spelling and handwriting) 

• Composition (articulating ideas and structuring them in speech and writing)

In addition, our pupils are taught how to plan, revise and evaluate their writing. They write across the curriculum and for a range of purposes.
